On 11–12 March, the PROSPER consortium gathered in Heerenveen at NTCP headquarters for the project consortium meeting, bringing together partners to review progress, discuss challenges, and align on the next steps of the project.
A key highlight of the meeting was the exchange with the PROSPER Advisory Board, whose members contribute valuable expertise and perspectives from across Europe and beyond. Their external viewpoint plays an essential role in supporting the project’s development by complementing the research perspective with insights focused on practical implementation and market relevance. Discussions covered important aspects including risk management, market opportunities, product suitability, certification pathways, and safety considerations. The consortium would like to sincerely thank all Advisory Board members for their time, engagement, and continued support.
During the meeting, consortium partners also had the opportunity to visit the NTCP facilities and gain first-hand insight into where testing activities for the PROSPER project are carried out.
NTCP is Europe’s first independent test centre equipped with industrial-scale facilities for plastic sorting and washing. As a not-for-profit organisation, NTCP’s mission is to advance innovation and research to support the transition towards a fully circular plastic value chain.
